-The car that gets the best miles per gallon ran by petrol is the Chevrolet Volt with a combined 60 MPG. 58 city, 62 highway
-The car with the highest mpg however is a Mitsubishi i-MiEV with 112 MPG.
-Lamborghini Murcielago gets the worst MPG for cars with only 8 city 13 highway. So the cost to own the chevy and mitsu is a lot cheaper. Especially with the cars being 1/20th the price with 10x the MPG.
-f the average person does 10,800 miles yearly in a chevy volt. They would buy a total of about 180 gallons of gas. In a lamborghini? 1,250 gallons of gas.The average price right now per gallon is $3.60 so with the volt you would save $3,852 on gas yearly.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with the point you made about the Mitsubishi and its fuel efficiency. I disagree because although it will save a load of money, it is extremely ugly and it is an undesireable car to behold. I would much rather own the Lamborghini, even though the fuel costs are much more robust.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with the point you have made simply because both of those cars are electric and gas powered. Therefore the so called "MPG" isnt mpg but also "miles per charge" so you have to find cars with just traditional fuels.
