Maintaining Physical Ability

  • Young athletes aren't always good when they get older
  • Your body functions decrease by 10% after the age of twenty five if you stop working out
  • The Vo2 Max decreases as you get older
  • You are born with muscle fibers but people who lift regularly have bigger muscles that contract greater
  • As you get older many athletes can rubn or swim as well as the young ones but can exceed in distance events
  • Inactivity is the enemy of fitness and health
  • Olympic sprinters maintain their physical ability but only to  a point

Why can't you maintain your health as you get older?
