ReplyDeleteYou made some good points here about how they must play well because they're being payed. I know this because I read about how people have to try harder and do better to raise more money for their program so that they can keep it.
ReplyDeleteThis post made me realize that sports do come naturally for some, but no one is naturally good enough to play professionally. It made me realize this because every athlete has very strenuous workouts, and you never hear about the best athletes waking up and saying im not in the mood to exercise today. They all look forward to exercising and getting better every day, as mentioned in your essay.
ReplyDeleteThis made me realize that being a professional athlete is not all from pure natural skill and ability. Almost all of the athletes in today's high level of competition strive for greatness in order to bring out the best of their potential. From your research I can see way professional athletes function. Athletes who are serious about what they do work hard at it and go the extra mile on many occasions.
